The Daily Aus × Maybe Sammy
Agree to Disagree
The gift for navigating family Christmas: for the family members you love, even when you don't agree.
You know how family lunch goes.
Different generations. Different perspectives. Different views on politics, the economy, and how the world should work.
That's what humans do. They disagree. They debate. They drive each other a bit mad.
But you still need to bring a gift. Something thoughtful. Something that shows you care, even when you see things differently.
Something that says: "I love you, even when I don't agree with you."
So we made this.
This is a premium craft cocktail made in collaboration between The Daily Aus (Australia's leading news source for young people) and Maybe Sammy (the country's most acclaimed cocktail makers).
It's called Agree to Disagree because that's what this is about: you don't always see things the same way, but you can still share something excellent together.
And the taste? Well, at least we can all agree on that.
What's inside the limited edition gift
Every purchase of 'Agree to Disagree' comes with:
- 500ml premium cocktail by Maybe Sammy
- Gift-ready packaging
- A special edition ‘Conversation Starter’ question card (for productive, positive conversations – just in case you need to change the subject)
Why we made this
The Daily Aus spends every day covering the news. Politics, the economy, housing, climate - the things that divide us. Maybe Sammy spends every day bringing people together through crafting incredible cocktail experiences.
So when Christmas 2025 rolled around, we asked ourselves: what's the perfect gift for the family member you love but don't always agree with?
We joined forces to create a cocktail so good that it transcends our differences. Because at the end of the day, family is family. And quality speaks for itself.
The result: 'Agree to Disagree'.
We don't have to agree on everything to share something excellent.
If 'Agree to Disagree' sells out (and it probably will),
drop your email, and we'll let you know if we make more.
